NYACK Baseball Camps
Head Coach Matthew Cornacchione

Coach Cornacchione is completing his first season as the leader of the Warrior Baseball program. His focus on fundamental skill development has been the foundation of successful programs he has been apart of. He will bring a wealth of experience to the Warrior Baseball Camp, making it a great place to learn and develop your baseball skills.

Nyack hired Matthew Cornacchione as head baseball coach in June 2009. He also fills the role of sports information director within the department. 

Cornacchione graduated from Geneva College in Beaver Falls, PA with a B.S. in elementary education in 2004.  He is currently working on an M.S. in exercise science and physical education at Montclair State University.  Matt comes to Nyack College from Bloomfield College in Bloomfield, NJ where he was the sports information director and assistant head baseball coach.  Prior to that he was an assistant coach at Geneva College for the 2005 & 2007 seasons.

While at Geneva as a student,
Cornacchione was a 3-year starter on the baseball team.  During his career he started at 6 different positions including catcher, pitcher, third base, outfield, and designated hitter.  In 2004 Cornacchione was named a captain and also received All conference honorable mention in the American Mideast Conference.
