Raquel Shaffer

A former standout at Nyack College, Raquel Shaffer enters her 2nd season as Head Coach of the Warriors Volleyball program. Shaffer, who was an NAIA All-American in 2001, previously served as head coach at Tappan Zee High School for four seasons prior to taking over the Warriors Volleyball program. Under her guidance, Tappan Zee reached the post-season in each of her four years at the helm.

A very decorated high school athlete, Shaffer was an all-state selection in her junior and seniorseasons at North Rockland High School. During her college career, she helped the warriors reach the regional playoffs every season of her college career.
